The Division of Veterinary Anatomy & Histology
The Division of Veterinary Anatomy and Histology, since its foundation has been involved in Teaching and Research. The major activity of the Division is to adopt and implement a robust and dynamic research and development strategy in the field of Veterinary Anatomy and Histology in order to keep pace with the present scenario. Since its inception, the Division is significantly contributing by providing anatomical knowledge of prescribed resident instructions programme in a focussed and patronising manner to transformour students to become a good Veterinary Surgeon, Pathologist and Gynaecologist.
To adopt and implement a robust and dynamic research and development strategy in the field of Veterinary Anatomy and Histology in order to keep pace with the current day demand.To prepare professionally competent human resource in the field of Veterinary Anatomy and Histology, Veterinary Surgery, Vetrinary Pathology and Veterinary Gynaecology by providing anatomical knowledge of prescribed resident instructions programme in a focussed and patronising manner.
Building a nucleus for the dissemination of latest information in the field of Veterinary Anatomy and Histology and producing world class professionally competent human resource adequately equipped with necessary tools and skills to deal successfully with any kind of challenge concerning Veterinary Anatomy and Histology.
Imparting theoretical, practical knowledge and education to Undergraduate (BVSc & AH) Degree Programme students.Imparting Resident Instructions to MVSc and PhD degree programmes in the discipline of Veterinary Anatomy and Histology conducting basic and applied research on various aspects of Veterinary Anatomy and Histology with emphasis on development of need based researches applicable to local conditions of Kashmir.
